Refund policy

 

SUBSTITUTE PRODUCTS

In the event of a product being unavailable (for any reason), you will contacted to discuss potential substitute goods. If the substitutes goods are not suitable then a refund will be given. If you agree to the substitute goods, once received if they are deemed unsuitable they will be refunded along with the cost of delivery.

RETURNS POLICY

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm

Cancellations

If you have had your purchases delivered, you are entitled to cancel your purchases at any time either before or up to 8 days after the day of delivery.

To cancel a purchase, please:

  1. return the product to one of our stores (please bring your receipt with you and the card you paid with, so that it can be credited);
  2. emailing us at sales@polhill.co.uk ;
  3. phone us on 01959 534212 – please ask for the Online Department;
  4. write to us at Online Department, Polhill Garden Centre, London Road, Badgers Mount, Sevenoaks, Kent, TN14 7BD.

 

Your product must be complete, unused and in ‘as new’ condition (i.e. in a resalable condition). It should be returned with the original box, packaging and accessories.

You will receive a full refund, the cancellation is free of charge provided you return the product to a store. If you choose another method of return other than specified, you may bear the costs. Your original delivery fee will not be refunded.

We cannot cancel your purchase when:

  1. you return your product to a store without proof of purchase;
  2. the goods were made to your specification.
  3. perishable goods (for example cut flowers)
  4. CD, DVD or other recording media, software if their seal is broken.

 

When you place an order for flowers, should you realise you have made a mistake or change your mind, we are able to amend or cancel your order up to 12 noon on the day before the scheduled delivery date you requested. We regret we are unable to accept amendments or cancellations after this period.

Return of Faulty Goods

If there is a fault with your product within 12 months of delivery, we will normally offer a prompt repair, exchange or refund with proof of purchase.

To return faulty goods, please:

  1. return the product to one of our stores (Please bring your receipt with you and the credit/debit card you paid with, so that it can be credited, Opening hours: 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday & 10.30am to 4.30pm on Sunday)

The return of faulty goods does not cover faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear & tear and perishable items (e.g. Flowers etc).
