Do I need to book a table?
No. We do not take table bookings for the main restaurant. All seating is first come, first served.
What are your opening hours?
Monday to Saturday: 9:00am to 5:00pm. Sunday: 10:00am to 4:00pm. The kitchen closes 30 minutes before closing time.
Is there free parking?
Yes. Polhill Garden Centre offers free on-site parking for all guests.
Are children welcome?
Yes. We offer a dedicated children’s menu and have baby changing facilities available in our toilets. We also offer free colouring.
Do you allow dogs?
Only guide dogs and assistance dogs are permitted inside the restaurant and garden centre for hygiene reasons.
Can I book the restaurant for a private event?
No. Novell’s Restaurant is not available for private hire.
Food & Drink
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes. We offer vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Please speak to a member of staff when ordering.

Do you prepare food fresh on site?
Yes. Our chefs prepare a wide selection of meals and sweet treats on site every day.
Do you serve breakfast all day?
Breakfast is served until 11:30am. Between 11:30am and 12:00pm, breakfast rolls are still available.
Can I order food to take away?
Yes. Selected menu items, hot drinks, and cakes can be ordered to take away from the main restaurant or Coffee Corner.
Tiki Huts
How do I book a Tiki Hut?
Tiki Huts can be booked online only. Simply choose your preferred date and time when making your booking.
What is included in the Tiki Hut afternoon tea?
A selection of finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones with jam and cream, sweet treats, and your choice of tea or coffee.
Can I book a Tiki Hut for lunch or dinner?
No. Tiki Huts are exclusively for our afternoon tea experience.
Do you offer themed afternoon teas?
No. We offer our classic afternoon tea in the Tiki Huts.
