Temporary Delivery Driver

We're looking for a temporary delivery driver to join the team over the next 6 months.

About the Role

Excellent opportunities have arisen for friendly and enthusiastic Temporary Delivery Drivers to work during our busy gardening and summer season from April 2026 to September 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • To drive the 3.5ton company van to customer homes to deliver customer orders in a safe and reliable manner.
  • To deliver customer orders in a timely and professional manner.
  • To load and unload customer deliveries in a safe and efficient manner.

Other Responsibilities

  • Keeping warehouse and yard clean and tidy.
  • Maintaining a high level of health and safety and security and following the company health and safety rules.
  • Treating stock with care and concern at all times.
  • Assisting in other departments/areas in the Warehouse and Fulfilment Centre Garden Centre when required.

Hours of work

The normal days of work are 5 days to include weekdays and some weekends.

About You

  • Previous delivery driving experience is preferred.
  • Hold a clean driving license.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • The ability to provide outstanding customer service.
  • The ability to work accurately and display attention to detail.
  • Possess plenty of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Flexible, positive and adaptable team player.
  • Ability to listen and follow instructions.
  • Willingness to learn new skills.

Warehouse Assistant

We are searching for a Warehouse Assistant to join the ever-growing Polhill team.

About the Role

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will support the day to day running of our warehouse, ensuring accurate stock control, safe unloading of deliveries, and organised product flow onto the shop floor. This is a hands on and physical role in a fast paced environment, where attention to detail, teamwork and a positive approach are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scan products accurately using the company’s in house software
  • Produce clear, accurate product labels
  • Report any damaged, incorrect or missing stock
  • Unload incoming deliveries safely and efficiently
  • Move stock to the sales floor using pump trucks where required
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and well organised warehouse and yard
  • Follow all company health & safety rules and procedures
  • Handle all stock with care and professionalism
  • Support waste disposal and recycling processes

Working Patterns

Tuesday to Friday: 08:45 - 17:45
Saturday: 07:00 - 16:00

During busy trading periods, some weekend work or early starts may be required to support replenishment and shop floor teams.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in warehouse operations (minimum 1 year preferred)
  • Accurate, organised and attentive to detail
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and a strong team player
  • Able to follow instructions and learn quickly
  • Flexible, positive and adaptable to changing priorities

Klass are looking for 2 friendly and flexible team members to join their ladies' fashion store.

Contract:

Each position requires 8 hours per week (2 x 4-hour shifts) + holiday cover

Duties include:

  • Providing excellent customer service – Creating a welcoming environment and assisting customers with their needs.
  • Operating the till – Handling transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Assisting customers with their selections – Offering style advice and helping customers find the perfect items.
  • Processing deliveries – Unpacking, tagging, and organising stock to keep the store looking its best.
