Polhill FAQs

We are open from 9:00 AM to 5:30pm, Monday to Saturday. On Sundays, we are open from 10:00amto 4:30pm.

Please note that while the garden centre opens at 10:00am on Sundays, purchases cannot be made until 10:30am. This is to ensure we are fully prepared to serve you with the best shopping experience possible.

We have a no dogs or other pets policy at Polhill Garden Centre due to hygiene reasons. The only exception to this is guide and assistance dogs, which are always welcome.

Yes, Polhill Garden Centre remains open on bank holidays with our usual opening hours: 9:00am to 5:30pm, unless stated otherwise. Please be aware that open times for our retail partners may vary.
Yes, parking is absolutely free at Polhill Garden Centre. We have a large car park to accommodate all visitors. Additionally, we offer EV charging ports, though please note that these are not free.
Yes, we sell Polhill Garden Centre gift cards in-store. We also sell and accept National Garden Gift Vouchers in-store only. Additionally, we offer Polhill Garden Centre digital gift vouchers for purchase online.

Yes, Novell's Restaurant is on-site, offering a full menu including breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon menu, as well as cakes and beverages. For the current seasonal sample menu, please see here. For a quicker bite to eat, we also have The Coffee Corner, which serves cakes, sandwiches, pastries, and a selection of beverages.

Polhill Garden Centre offers a refund or exchange on products in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we ask that the product is returned within 14 days in its unused, resalable condition with a valid proof of purchase.

For faulty items, we offer a refund, repair, or exchange within 12 months of purchase, provided the item is not damaged by accident, misuse, or normal wear and tear.

Please note that some items, such as perishable goods and personalised products, are excluded from this policy.

Facilities & Accessibility

Yes, we have two baby changing facilities at Polhill Garden Centre. One is located near the restaurant, and another can be found in the gift and homeware area.
Yes, Polhill Garden Centre is fully accessible. We have two disabled toilets, both equipped with baby changing facilities. Our entire centre is wheelchair-friendly, with extra-wide walkways to ensure ease of movement. Where there are elevation changes, we have ramps in addition to stairs, allowing for easy access throughout the centre.
Yes, we have two toilet blocks at Polhill Garden Centre. One is located in our gift department, and the other is to the left of Novell’s Restaurant.
Yes, we have wheelchairs available at both till areas in the store. You can also reserve a wheelchair ahead of your visit by calling us on 01959 534212. Please note that we do not have electric wheelchairs or scooters available.
Yes, we offer a delivery service. This can be arranged at the point of purchase.

Online FAQs

Unfortunately, once an order has been confirmed, we are unable to amend it. If you wish to add items to your order, we recommend placing a separate order and notifying us. We will then be able to refund any duplicated delivery charges if two orders are placed on the same day.
Yes, if your order includes garden furniture or a barbecue, we will call shortly after your order to arrange a delivery date. For all other items delivered via our local delivery service, the driver will notify you on the day of delivery. If your order is being sent by courier, notification will depend on the courier's processes.
If items are missing from your order, it is likely due to being out of stock. In this case, we will refund you for any missing items within 72 hours of your delivery. Your delivery driver will inform you of any substitutes or shortages upon arrival.

In most cases, we aim to deliver your order within 5-7 working days of receiving it. If we are unable to meet this timeframe, we will contact you in advance to inform you. If more than 7 working days have passed and you have not been contacted, please get in touch with us, and we will do our best to resolve the issue.
