Bred by the Scottish Crop Research Institute, Ben Connan is a very popular early fruiting variety. Exceptionally large and glossy black currants that have superb rich flavour. Neat compact grower bearing fruit on medium length sprigs making them easy to pick. Heavy cropper – usually out yields all other varieties in trials, branches are often weighted down with fruit, but return to upright position after harvest. Resistant to mildew, leaf spot and highly resistant to leaf-curling midge. Very frost tolerant, so ideal for growing in colder climes! Perfect variety where space is at a premium

We offer local delivery across a wide postcode area using our own vans, with courier delivery available for orders further afield. Standard delivery is 5–10 working days (10–15 during peak seasons such as summer and Christmas).

For furniture orders, we’ll email your delivery slot and our drivers will call when on route. Delivery charges start from £5.95 and vary by postcode, item size and weight. Our local delivery area includes BR, CR, DA, ME, RH, SE and TN postcodes in the South East of England.

Return Policies
