Calocephalus Leucophyta Brownii, also known as Silver Bush or Cushion Bush, is a small, rounded shrub with tangled tomentose branchlets that give it a silvery appearance. It is native to Australia and is commonly cultivated in gardens for its drought tolerance, silvery foliage, and compact growth habit.
Features:
- Silver Bush can grow up to 1 meter tall, but is more typically 20-70 centimeters tall. It has tiny, silvery-white leaves that are arranged in whorls on the stems. In summer, it produces small, white-yellow flowers.
Height: 40cm x 40cm
Planting : When planting in the open ground it is best planted with a mixture of your garden soil and a good quality Tree and Shrub Compost. If planting in a container then we recommend John Innes No3 Compost or a good quality Multipurpose compost with added John Innes. These plants should be fed in Spring and late Summer with a good quality granular fertiliser.
